US Open: Viktor lost hard fight

It wasn´t an easy draw for Viktor Troicki at the 2010 US Open in Flushing Meadows. Already in the first Round he faced another Serbian player, Novak Djokovic.
But the match was very close. Viktor showed a good performance and was leading the match for a long time. But then came a time in the fourth set when his first serve didn´t came and he started to make some unforced errors. Novak took advantage from this situation and turned the game around.

At the end Novak Djokovic beat Viktor Troicki 6-3 3-6 2-6 7-5 6-3.

Therefore Viktor is still competing in the doubles competition. He teamed up with German Michael Berrer. In the first round they will face Maximo Gonzales and Santiago Ventura.

After that Viktor is going to prepare for the Davis Cup tie between Serbia and the Czech Republic. Where Novak and Viktor will play in one team. This tie will be held in two weeks in Belgrade, Serbia.
